As Chief Executive Officer, Jim leads the company’s specialist repair, inspection and integrity business responsible for driving the overall direction of travel, financial performance and growing the already impressive global footprint through ICR’s own hubs and the extensive partner network. Jim has a BSc in Aeronautical Engineering and has held senior roles in the energy industry for 20+ years. He joins following an impressive career with Wood Plc, latterly as Senior VP – Africa Operations (2015-19) and Senior VP – Asia Pacific Central (2019-22), where he was responsible for business effectiveness, growth, and safety performance in international markets. Jim’s background and experience working across multiple geographical regions, coupled with his ability to build high performing teams will complement ICR’s international market grow strategy and build on the solid team performance delivered during the last few years..
Hollie joined ICR in 2014 as Group Commercial Manager, in 2016 she was promoted to Group Commercial and Procurement Director leading and establishing the commercial and procurement function whilst developing and implementing robust processes and a team to support delivery against ICRs growth strategy, commercial activity and delivering major contracts. In 2020, Hollie was promoted to Corporate Development Director a role which provides oversight on delivery of the ICR business plan and supports the business in delivering against strategic objectives concentrating on internationalisation and energy transition.
Hollie is passionate about ICR, the environment and equal opportunities and is focussed on improvement, her role of ESG Champion encompasses this. The role involves all aspects of ICR’s ESG journey, including baselining data, target setting, delivering an annual impact report and engaging with our people.
Hollie holds a Masters degree in Oil and Gas Law from RGU, an LLB hons from the University of Aberdeen and achieved MCIPS Chartership in Procurement and Supply.
As Group Director, Ross heads up the repair division including the Technowrap, Quickflange, Mechanical Services and Leak Sealing business lines. He has responsibility for ensuring ICR deliver a first class service to our clients and will focus on supporting the continued global growth and diversification of the business.
Ross has a BEng in Civil and an MSc in Offshore Engineering and is Charted Structural Engineer to background. He has a 30 years of industry experience and has held senior roles in a number of oil and gas operators including TAQA and EnQuest and latterly at service company EnerMech, where he headed up the Europe and Africa business cross-sector. Ross has experience in Engineering, Operations and Projects with a strong business bias and a passion for developing people and high performing teams.
Katie joined ICR in 2018 and has led the HR function through significant change and growth. As HR Director, Katie will continue to lead the HR strategy and people agenda, to support our continued growth and energy transition for the future.
Prior to joining ICR, she spent a lot of her career with operator Maersk Oil, working in the UK and leading various international projects, latterly she spent 3 years working in the Middle East region.
Katie’s focus and pride is in delivering a professional service, playing a key part in defining the business strategy and as a result the organisational culture, through partnering with the business to understand their needs, with people at the forefront.
She holds first class degree in Management with HRM, an MSc in Human Resource Management and is a Chartered Member of the CIPD.
Henning joined the company in 2019 as Sales Manager and has played a big role in developing the Norway market before becoming General Manager for Norway in 2021. Prior to joining ICR, he worked as a Business developer and also has experience from offshore international. He holds a degree in Petroleum Technology and has over 10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas Industry.
Ewan Robertson is one of ICR’s longest standing employees having started as a Senior Technician for Walker Technical Resources back in 1997. With over 25 years’ experience in the Oil & Gas industry, Ewan progressed through the business in a number of operational management roles and has been key to the growth and development of the company. With a BA (Hons) in Public Policy and Management Studies from Robert Gordon University, Ewan has supported ICR’s market entry strategies into new international sectors and geographical locations. Ewan understands the complexities of operating and setting up supply chains and operational bases in new territories, including Australia, Canada and the Middle East.
Steve has led the Quickflange™ Business Unit within ICR since 2019 and supports the team responsible for our range of Weldless Connectors. Steve started his career as a Toolmaker at BAE before gaining his degree in Mechatronics and becoming more involved in the design of Mechanical Connectors. He has been involved with the design, delivery, and qualification of Mechanical Connectors globally since 2006. Ranging from Mooring Systems for FPSO’s and Floating Assets Offshore in West Africa, Australia and the Gulf of Mexico through to Subsea and Topside Pipeline Connections up to 42’’ for key clients such as BP, Equinor and Total.
Darryl has been with ICR since conception in 2012 starting as Director then Business Development Director for Mechanical Services to the onshore market predominantly defence, oil and gas and wider energy sectors. Early In 2021 Darryl became General Manager of the new ICR Carnforth facility focusing on the delivery of additional services ICR offer including Technowrap composite repair , Leak Sealing and Quickflange which are complementary to the traditional On-Site Machining and Hydraulic Bolt Tensioning service lines. Darryl started as an apprentice Mechanical fitter for VSEL on Trident nuclear submarine going on to study Mechanical Engineering at Liverpool University. Darryl has a total of 36 years’ experience in engineering across a wide range or industries and has worked in a variety of international locations. Darryl is a keen cyclist along with many other outdoor activities. He has a passion for raising money and organising annual sporting events to raise funds for local charities.
Alan joined Chemical Injection Utilities in 2004 and has progressed through the business in a number of operational management roles and now leads ICRs chemical injection division as business unit manager. Alan’s degree in Mechanical Engineering combined with his unrivalled product knowledge and ability to deliver large scale projects, combined with a strong daily rental service business, has resulted in significant growth for the pump division.
