We are looking for a full time Technician to join the team, based out of Stavanger.
The Technician will be responsible for maintaining all the equipment associated with the Technowrap and Quickflange product ranges. This will also include all stores related activities for the control and movement of materials. All tasks will be carried out in accordance with ICR procedures. The role will be based out of ICR workshop in Stavanger.
The main tasks and responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to the following:
To become totally conversant and have a full and detailed understanding of the Engineered Composite and Quickflange Repairs business processes and their applications.
To maintain the equipment associated with the Technowrap and Quickflange product lines. This will include preparation and testing of equipment prior to mobilisation and checking of equipment on return.
To manage the control and movement of all stock and equipment.
Receiving goods into the Warehouse and checking the condition of goods received against PO / supplier delivery note. Where applicable recording all batch numbers and recording on SAP.
Responsible for QA / QC of all materials and documentation within warehouse.
Manage and update all stock transactions and information on SAP.
Management of all resins and ensuring proper storage within heated store.
Provide weekly report on stock movement and advise on stock replenishment when minimum stock levels are reached.
Responsible for ensuring that all dangerous materials are identified, packaged, & transported in accordance with the relevant carriers statutory & regulatory requirements.
Ensure all chemicals / resins are disposed off in accordance with company procedures.
To be fully competent in the Technowrap range of products, and other ICR products/services as required
To adhere to all the ICR business processes and their applications
To take responsibility for one’s own safety and for the safety of others, working within ICR and whilst representing ICR on an external work site. To have a personal commitment to safety.

The successful applicant should have the following skills and key attributes:
Hands-on, technical person
Industry knowledge (an advantage, but not essential)
Mechanical background (an advantage, but not essential)
Having worked with composite/wrap (an advantage, but not essential)
Ability to interact with people at all levels including external contacts
Time management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build relationships with internal and external clients
Experience in using Microsoft Office and SAP
Strong organisational skills
Self-starter that takes a collaborative approach and enjoys working as part of a team
Ability to work on own initiative and self-manage own workload and those of others as required
Sets high standards in quality of work with excellent attention to detail
Flexibility and the willingness to contribute to new ideas and processes
