We are looking for an International Business Development Manager to join the Business Development team, based out of Aberdeen.
The Business Development Manager will manage the internationalisation and oversee partner development for ICR business within strategic geographic locations including market and competitor analysis, partner search and due diligence and developing appropriate marketing strategies.
You must have a good level of understanding for the global offshore and onshore energy markets and be able to deliver technical presentations in country and remotely for ICR’s repair services with a greater focus on Engineered Composites and Quickflange.
This role will report to the Business Development Director.
The main tasks involved in the role will include, but are not limited to:
Manage the internationalisation for the ICR business within the strategic geographic locations including partner search and due diligence.
Manage and update Pipedrive CRM system.
Gather client and market intel including new planned projects, competitor analysis and client commercial analysis.
Develop and retain positive relationships with new and existing customers and foster positive relationships within the ICR organisation.
Make technical presentations, predominantly for Engineered Composites and Quickflange, and demonstrate how the products will meet the client’s needs.
To positively and professionally represent ICR at conferences, trade shows and networking events with an aim to continually gather intelligence and feed back to the business using the appropriate tools.
Proactively support marketing for new clients/partners.
Ensure annual sales targets and strategic objectives are met or exceeded for new clients and new business.
Ensure competitor analysis and market intelligence is included in trip reports and fed back to the Management team.
Work with business unit managers to deliver accurate budgets and forecasts.
Able to travel regularly overseas to meet with partners and clients to make technical presentations for both Engineered Composites and Quickflange and demonstrate how the products will meet the client’s needs.
Work closely with the marketing team to ensure all promotional material and case studies are up to date and fit for purpose.
ICR Group is represented to the highest standard at trade shows, conferences and networking events.
