Graduate Project Engineer (Quickflange™) - Aberdeen

We are looking for a full time Graduate Project Engineer to join the Quickflange team within ICR, based in Aberdeen.

We are looking for a full time Graduate Project Engineer to join the Quickflange™ team within ICR, based in Aberdeen.

This role will provide all project support to the Quickflange UK Operations team, supporting all daily operational requirements, primarily focusing on provision of job packs and equipment coordination and tracking.

This role will report the Project Manager.

The main tasks and responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to the following:

Main Tasks:

  • Gathering of job packs
  • Coordination of and arranging the returning of equipment, including shipping documentation and commercial invoices.
  • Assist with the sales quotation process, requesting cost and lead times from the procurement team for specific sale items
  • Completing delivery paperwork on SAP, ensuring correct equipment is mobilised in line with client requirements.
  • Provide support to sales team with client management and expectations
  • Develop, approve and update, job tracker, equipment tracking planner, daily sales spreadsheet and master project planner to reflect resource allocation in line with various project requirements and client requests
  • Handling customer enquiries & requesting PO uplifts to ensure timely payment
  • Raising purchase requisitions in line with project requirements
  • Handling of all QF training enquires, including coordination of equipment & manpower to complete training.
  • Logging of project close out documentation, ensuring the QF history log is kept up to date
  • Client meetings, where appropriate
  • Organise and liaise with 3rd party inspection
  • Providing Project Coordination support across other ICR business units as required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordination of the rental equipment and sale flanges
  • To prepare and compile job packs
  • To create dispatch paperwork via SAP, for the dispatch equipment
  • Awareness of current stock levels and reorder points.

Key Skills, Attributes and Experience:

  • Knowledge of SAP is preferable, but not essential.
  • Awareness of mechanical equipment and possibly hydraulic equipment an advantage
  • Strong organisational and planning skills
  • Problem resolution and process familiarisation
  • Analysis and decision-making skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong ability to multi-task
  • Excellent administration skills, including report writing
  • Significant Microsoft knowledge and experience
