Graduate Project Coordinator

We are looking for a full time Graduate Project Coordinator to join the Engineered Composites team in Aberdeen.

The Graduate Project Coordinator will plan, manage and execute projects from start to finish, keeping them on track and ensuring their successful delivery. The Graduate Project Coordinator will be provided with training to work with our internal and external clients in a Project Support role, helping to deliver a project alongside sales, technical and operational teams with functional support.

The main tasks and responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

Main tasks:

  • Support the Operations and Engineering teams with materials planning, inventory management, procurement and supply chain.
  • Support Sales staff with client management and expectations.
  • Develop, approve and update, in conjunction with the Project Managers, relevant project planning schedules/personnel logistics to reflect resource allocation in line with various project requirements and client requests.
  • Assist with monitoring relevant project cost control / tracking and preparation of monthly reports for the Project Managers.
  • Assist with compiling and issuing the ‘Final Report’ to clients, ensuring archiving of relevant project records.
  • Prepare work packs and deployment packs.
  • Provide general administration support to the Operations Team.
  • Assisting the operations team in training and competency ensuring ongoing compliance with training matrices.

Key responsibilities:

  • Ensure all technical queries and requests raised by the various project teams are promptly dealt with.
  • Ensure adequate resource and competency of personnel to carry out project requirements, whilst ensuring compliance with the Company Business Management System.
  • Maintain and improve appropriate technical procedures and work instructions.

  • Business Management degree or equivalent
  • Strong organisational and planning skills
  • Problem resolution and process familiarisation
  • Analysis and decision-making skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong ability to multi-task
  • Excellent administration skills, including report writing
